Tom "Kong" Watson took home a double bonus out of UFC on Fuel 7, earning an extra $100,000 to go along with his first win inside the Octagon.
Watson earned $50,000 "Fight Night" bonuses for both "Fight of the Night" and "Knockout of the Night" following his victory over Stanislav Nedkov. Though there were some sloppy exchanges and moments of tired action between the two, Watson ultimately scored a vicious TKO win late in the second round. It was a thrilling back and forth fight, earning them each the "FotN" honors, but Watson finally earned the finish with a brutal clinch attack ending in strikes on the ground.
"Submission of the Night" was earned by default on a card featuring nine decisions, but main eventer and still Interim Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao was a deserving winner nonetheless. After a competitive 15 minutes, Barao secured an arm triangle choke submission in the fourth round to earn the finish and the extra $50,000 bonus.
